House Hunting Continues

I have been thinking of getting a house for a while now, but since I am stuck in my current apartment lease (for another 6 months) I was kinda stuck. AND I was upset that I was going to miss out on that 8k refund that Obama is doing! Then I found out that he was extending it until the end of April next year and I decided, I am going for it, that is PERFECT for me! My lease is up in May 15th! Awesome right! So now I am starting to look for a realtor, who can help me, narrow down all of the properties that are now on the market and actually work with me from start to closing, so that I can become a first time homeowner.

Now come the decision of should I buy here (South Florida) or go home to the Mid West. South Florida is nothing like the Mid West, and I miss my home town and nice people! So I decided to look for property managers in both areas, South Florida, I haven’t come across a really good one (I think I am going to end up going with a friend of the family for down here). However, there is a great company up home, the Real Property Management. They have a great reputation and between that and the fact that my mum and all my friends are pushing for it, well, it sounds good to me. They are one of the fastest growing property management companies in the country and with all the houses on the market right now, I want the perfect place! They inspect the property and cover some of the additional cost that you may inherit when purchasing a house. So I think for my homeward bound search, which mum will head up. I am going to use Real Property Management.

I will be sure to keep you up to date on the progress. I am looking at palaces of turkey-day up North and Mum is looking at place down here over Christmas
